Hi. Okay, this is just a brief overview of what to expect in an online herbal consultation.
First of all, before the session, I’d like you to let me know about any supplements you’re taking, any herbs you use regularly, your exercise routine, and so forth.
During the session, we’ll talk more about how you’re sleeping, your emotional health—things like that. I want to get a big-picture sense of your overall health and what issues you’re experiencing. I’ll be looking for patterns.
You’ll leave the session with three points to focus on until our next meeting.
I’m also trained as a personal fitness trainer and a massage therapist, in addition to being an herbalist. So the suggestions I offer could range from movement practices to sleep support, spending time in nature, or doing a plant encounter practice. It could be aromatherapy, it could be tea.
One of the things I love so much about herbs is that we can interact with them in so many different ways.
So yes, you’ll leave with three things to focus on.
This is something I’ve talked about with a lot of herbalists—balancing taking things on faith with approaching them as experiments. And I’d ask you to try to do both—hold both lightly.
On one hand, it’s important that we both believe: If I do these things, it’s going to help. That belief matters. And on the other hand, it’s also: Let’s try this and see what happens.
Do both.
